Topic Description:
Musicians often have strong gut reactions to the word "dictation." But writing what you hear can be a skill that empowers, thrills, and even opens doors to musical understanding. We will look at dictation in multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, true-false, and essay formats. Come prepared to laugh and to bring some practical tools back to your classroom.
